Meet the Arctic Ridges Legwarmers! This crochet legwarmer boot cuff pattern is great for fall and winter and can be made using any yarn. My favorite part of this design is the knit-like texture, although the faux fur cuffs cannot be beat. I’m really excited to be able to share this one and hope you all enjoy it too.

You don’t need much to be able to get these legwarmers going which is also great – you can use some spare yarn you have around and you can make the boot cuffs any height you need.

Pin for later!

  • recommended hook size for the yarn you choose
  • faux fur yarn – I recommend a super bulky faux fur yarn such as Lion Brand Go for Faux.
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle / tool for weaving in ends
  • measuring tape

CH to your desired height (photo shows ch40 using bulky weight 6 yarn)

Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch1 & turn.

Row 2: Hdc sl st 3rd loop in each st across. Ch1 & turn.

Row 3-30 [or to your desired width]: Hdc sl st 3rd loop in each st across. Ch1 & turn.

After the final row, sl st together your final row with the beginning row to create a tube. Cut & tie off.

Using your faux fur yarn, attach at one end of the tube and work 3 rows of single crochet all the way around the tube – no need to ch1 at the end of each row since you will be working continuously. Make sure to keep note of how many single crochets are in each row so you don’t increase or decrease. Once done, cut & tie off and weave in all ends.
